Visa and mastercard are NEEDED by these guys or people wont' use the payment app. Its mutually beneficial for both apple/google to team up with master+visa.

This virus is making more people use visa and mastercard, I know I stopped using physical cash cause its just disgusting are requires more interaction. Those stocks were tanks going in and a should continue. Not sure about in the US but most other places the cards that power the new digital banks like Monzo, Revolut, Starling are all MasterCard.

In the last few years most of the younger generation have gone from taking out traditional back accounts with Visa cards to digital banks with MasterCard.
